“Run by riders, for riders”

Northern Kites is a kitesurfing school located in the north of the UK. Kitesurfing is a wind and ocean-based sport with a strong community of enthusiasts. Northern Kites is different from its competition in that it strives to bring people together around a common passion.

When approaching the branding, we wanted to create something that was unique and distinguishably clean. The interlocking kites reflect this sense of community and simultaneously hide the “N” of “Northern Kites”. This is counter-balanced by a dynamic font and vibrant colors, all of which represent the exciting and extreme nature of the sport.
